The Economic Restructurings Committee has the primary responsibility of gathering and interpreting market information that we can use to create an economic development strategy for our downtown area. This includes working with the North Central Economic Development Corporation to offer facade improvement loans and micro loans for starting up businesses. Additionally, they offer educational seminars on topics such as banking and writing business planes. The Economic Restructuring Committee also developed a Bricks and Mortar Grant. This is funded by MAIN STREET fund raisers and private donations.
